You found the love of your life. You got the ring. And now you have to ask what will probably be the most important question ever and hoping your love says “YES!”.

What if I said you have a better chance at a “YES!” if you start with a plan 😀 The first part of this plan weighs heavily in the “where” are you going to propose. There are so many places to propose in Florida, but here are my Top 5 perfect places to propose. You’re welcome 😉

1. ICON Park Orlando

• If you are looking for a perfect and cool place, ICON Park Orlando is the place to do it. You can first start by taking your love on the The Wheel with your own private pod. If you are a Florida Resident, you can receive 25% off The Wheel ride! You can ask the question 400 feet in the air while enjoying breathtaking views anytime of the day or night ( I would choose nighttime though-the lights! ). Next, have a photographer waiting for both of you to take amazing pictures around the ICON Park Lawn then finish the night off at the Sugar Factory for dessert…YUM!

2. Four Seasons Orlando Walt Disney World

• Imagine being surrounded by lush views and towering palm trees and the spirit of Disney while you pop the question to your forever love. Being that the Four Seasons is a 5 star resort, you have the opportunity set up an entire day full of love. From breakfast in your suite, to lounging by the lazy river and pool. Then head over to The Spa for a couples massage. Get dressed in the best for the perfect dinner down in the Four Season rooftop Restaurant-Capa. But before you do, you can pop the question anywhere on property, like in front of their infamous Grande Staircase with its signature fireworks Chandeliers <3. Finish the night with the glass of wine in hand, and the enjoy views of the nightly Magic Kingdom Park fireworks from your seat in Capa.

3. Wall Crawl Orlando

• Looking for a place where a proposal probably hasn’t been done before? Well, Wall Crawl Orlando just might be it! It’s a blend of traditional photo studio and ready for Instagram picture spot. You can book the space 3 ways:

  • (1) Book a General Admission Ticket where you can snap your own photos or use one of their roaming onsite photographers (remember they are roaming so they won’t stand there and only take your picture for an hour). But you can purchase the pictures from them at the end of your session.

  • (2) You can book on their photographers or bring your own designated photographer.

  • (3) Act like you own the place and go crazy with your own photographer, glam squad, wardrobe changes- the works! Total privacy and you can take your time. EPIC MOMENT TIP: Book the place for just you guys. Pop the question in front of wall, then have wardrobe and glam squads waiting.. BOOM..engagement pictures are now done also!

4. Leu Gardens

• So this may not be a “fun” place, but it is definitely a great one! Leu Gardens is a 50-acre botanical oasis minutes from Downtown Orlando. Each garden is set with different themes and botanical life. Can we talk about #FortheGram? With it also being a public place, this is a perfect spot to stage a photographer to capture the entire moment! Or have their family members come rushing from around the corner! Aah! So take your forever love here, pick the perfect spot, get down on that knee and SHOWTIME!

5. The Balcony Orlando

• Now this… 😀 One of my favorite venues for the chic, modern and sophisticated couple. Maybe its the New Yorker in me, but give me a rooftop in the middle of downtown and we will make magic happen! The Balcony Orlando sits 11 stories high ready for you to pop the question! You can set up the perfect bed of roses and candles, balloons, and music. And of course, a photographer to capture this epic moment <3 Extra bonus: This is an awesome wedding and event venue too! So say “YES!” and “I do!” in the same spot…LOVE THAT!

I hope you enjoyed my Top 5 Perfect Places to Propose! Regardless of where or how you do it, always do it from the heart. That is what truly matters. BUUUTTT.. here are some extra tips to help make the moment extra sweet:

1. Make sure her nails are done.

2. If she is a family person, have her family there. Doesn’t mean you have to propose with a crowd, but have the family waiting at a local restaurant, back at the house, or around the corner is perfect!

3. HIRE A PHOTOGRAPHER and/or videographer! You already know why…

4. Extra points: hire planner. You are already stressed about not dropping the ring and asking the question, so why add on planning an event. (yes this is an event!) Hire a professional to take of all the details AND setup AND breakdown. (bet you didn’t think about that either!)
