It’s official! Every year Pantone announces their pick for Color of the Year. And for 2020, the color of the year is: Classic Blue!
The Pantone Color of the Year selection process requires thoughtful consideration and trend analysis. To arrive at the selection each year, Pantone’s color experts at the Pantone Color Institute comb the world looking for new color influences.
Classic Blue was not what I expected at all, but I can work with it!
So now what?
When thinking on how to apply this Classic Blue look to your wedding, here are some fun ideas!
No one can deny a classic blue suit/tuxedo is always a great choice. Having your groom and groomsmen styled with a classic blue suit/tuxedo or even a simple touch of classic blue in their tie would be perfect.
What about us girls?! OF COURSE! Classic Blue is the color of the year, but you can play with the hues of blue as well. How about navy? Clean classic look of navy in your bridesmaids dresses can do the trick! Take a look how my wonderful bride, Monique, used navy for her bridesmaids!
Not quite! But you can surely accent your cake with a touch classic blue, like our client Monique did 🙂
I mean can’t you just smell all of the goodness from her cake created by Sprinkles Custom Cakes.
Here is another fun way to incorporate a classic blue… through classic blue furniture. Like this AMAZING electric deep velvet blue couch from A Chair Affair!
I mean…. <3 <3
In the end, however you want to tie in the Color of the Year, make it fun and make it yours!
