Being a part of the events industry, we cherish curated experiences marked by careful planning and attention to detail. Last month, L3 Events was invited to the 2024 Annual Wedding Planner Event at JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort and Spa. Of course we said ‘Yes!’ knowing it was an opportunity we couldn’t miss. From the moment we arrived at this 4-star resort, the entire experience was nothing short of extraordinary. An array of chocolates and desserts from the resort’s vast culinary options awaited us in our complimentary 1 Bedroom King Executive Suite. With floor-to-ceiling windows (ugh the views!), muted tones and impeccable lighting in all the right places, getting ready for the evening ahead was a moment all on its own.

The evening unfolded, with a cocktail hour located in the Palm Ballroom. Adorned in gold drapes (provided by Swag Decor), a captivating rounded bar highlighted with an outstanding floral installation by The Floral Way Studios and with live melodies from Noire Productions. From there, we transitioned into dinner that felt like stepping into an enchanted garden, complete with a mesmerizing violin performance and a delectable four-course meal.

The night continued with an unforgettable after-party, where iridescent spheres and neon strings illuminated the dance floor, topped by confetti blasts and the skillful beats of DJ Mak with Fyerfly productions. To end the evening, awaiting us in our room, a late-night charcuterie spread. Again, every detail was thoughtfully curated to enhance our experience.

The following day began with a rejuvenating Himalayan sound bowl therapy session courtesy of Spa by JW Orlando, setting the tone for a successful leisurely brunch and a refreshing morning.

As a final activity, Live Trends Boutique helped us craft our own succulent terrarium so we can have something to remember our time. Can’t wait for the next Wedding Fam Event! 😀

And let’s not forget the adult pool, complete with private cabanas, and the Asian-inspired rooftop lounge, Illume, offering nightly views of Disney fireworks. For a culinary adventure, make reservations at Sear + Sea Woodfire Grill. A hidden gem which was also recommended in the Florida 2023 Michelin Guide.

What is your favorite feature of the hotel?

Our favorite feature of the hotel is our Grand Staircase. Many first looks and couple portraits have been taken on those steps and it’s always a favorite moment. Another favorite feature is our outdoor rooftop lawn overlooking Orlando-the perfect ceremony backdrop. You feel like you are standing on top of the world in the middle of the most important moment of your life !

What are some surprising wedding add-ons that couples may not know that the JW Marriott Bonnet Creek can do?

Many couples may not know that we can include the option of adding a Hospitality Suite for your guests as they stay the weekend of your wedding. A wedding hospitality suite is a place for guests to come throughout the weekend for refreshments, snacks, and information.

Some popular trends include adding signature cocktails AND mocktail options. Our mocktails are exquisitely crafted as much as our cocktails are. No need to skip on quality!
